Kanye West: I'm sorry, Taylor by stgoldberg
One year after he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West is still singing the blues. The hip-hop superstar wrote a lengthy apology to the country queen on Twitter over the weekend, saying his actions had nothing to do with race and claiming that he’s been treated like the Wicked Witch of the West.
“She had no idea what hit her,” West, who rushed the stage to proclaim that Swift’s Best Female Video award should have gone to Beyoncé, tweeted Saturday. “She deserves the apology more than anyone.”
